The Tiadrine Hegemony is the biggest target for satirists and the best villain for storytellers in recent years. Formerly a mass of squabbling duchies, baronies, and shires, the invasion of Orcs from the mountain strongholds didn’t result in the massacre that some stories tell of. While the orcs aren’t as brutal as those few exiled nobles claim, they certainly haven’t spared the whip when it comes to their administration of the lands they now rule.
