The elves of the Empire of the Plum Blossom differ from their western brethren. Where the western elves gave themselves to the hunt and the harp, the eastern elves have given themselves to the brush and the blossom. The elves of the Forbidden Empire are an ascetic people, yet relish fleeting beauty. They enjoy the benefits that come with trade, but are very xenophobic. Landing outside the designated trade ports is a very foolish idea.
